2 J&K IFS officers empanelled as Jt Secy

JAMMU, Jan 3: Two senior IFS officers from the Jammu and Kashmir have been empanelled for holding the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent at the Centre.
Official sources said that out of the eight IFS officers of 2000 batch, empanelled by the Union Government to hold the post of Joint Secretary or equivalent today, two of them belonged to J&K cadre. They are Naveen Kumar Shah and Roop Avtar Kaur. Both the officers are on Central deputation at present.
The other six officers empanelled are- P. Senthil Kumar (SK), TJ Kavitha (RJ), P Sivakumar & Sonali Ghosh (AM), Mahesh Kumar Shambhu (UT) and Meenakshi Joshi (UD).
