JAMMU : Two persons were killed and 22 others injured when their bus skidded off the road and turned turtle on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway in Udhampur district.
“A bus was on way from Jaganoo Morh to Udhampur skidded off the road when the driver failed to negotiate a sharp turn,” a police spokesman here said.
He said one person died on the spot while one of the critically injured was referred to the Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu but he succumbed.
Other 22 injured were discharged after first aid at district hospital, he added.
