GANDERBAL, June 16: Two persons died while three others sustained injuries after the vehicle they were travelling in was hit by shooting stones near Zozila in Ganderbal District.
An Atlo car came under shooting stones at Paani Maata near Zozila on Sunday, resulting in death of two persons, including a woman and a child on-the-spot, and injuries to three people, a police official said.

He said the injured have been hospitalised and bodies of the deceased have been shifted to the nearby hospital for conducting the post-mortem.
Police have started further investigation into the matter.
