SRINAGAR, Feb 19: Police today said two persons including a minor were killed while three others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
A police spokesman said Tipper bearing registration number JK01D-9337 hit and injured a 3 year-old boy Reyan at Bonegam in Lasjan area on city outskirts here. “The injured was shifted to hospital for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries,” he said, adding a case has been registered in this regard.
The spokesman said an unknown vehicle hit and injured two persons identified as Mushtaq Ahmad Kana and Habibullah Shah at Batpora in Hazratbal area on city outskirts here. “Both the injured were shifted to SKIMS Soura where Habibullah Shah succumbed to his injuries,” he said, adding a case has been registered in this regard.
The police spokesman said a Swift car bearing registration number HR15AB-9322h hit and injured a pedestrian namely Haseena Begum near Sub District Hospital in Sopore area of Baramulla district. “The injured lady was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said a Maruti car bearing registration number JK09-4533 hit and injured a lady namely Raja Begum on near Bhumhama along National Highway in north Kashmir’s Kupwara district. “The injured lady was shifted to District Hospital Kupwara for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
