2 killed, 4 hurt in mishap

RAMBAN, Nov 28: Two persons were killed and four others sustained injuries when a Tata Sumo, they were traveling in, rolled down into gorge at Gwari under the jurisdiction of Dharamkund Police Station.
The ill-fated vehicle bearing registration number JK14A-5981 was on its way from Sumbar to Sangaldhan when it met with accident reportedly due to the negligence of the driver at around 8.30 am.
On getting information about the accident, the jawans of 76 Battalion of BSF and local people swung into action and started rescue operation. Two of the occupants of the ill-fated vehicle were found dead while as all the four injured were rushed to District Hospital Ramban.
Three of them were, later, referred to SKIMS, Soura. The condition of all the injured was stated to be critical when reports last came in.
The deceased have been identified as Abdul Gani, son of Haji Golu and Mohd Raqib, son of Mohd Shafi, both the residents of Sumbar.
The injured are Imtiyaz Ahmed, son of Gulzar Ahmed, Bilal Ahmed, son of Abdul Gani, Parvez Ahmed, son of Mohd Shafi and Sajjad Ahmed, son of Mohd Shafi of Sumbar.
