KATHUA, Oct 14: In a tragic accident two persons including a minor was killed and four others travelling in the ill- fated car which rolled down into deep gorge on Bani- Basholi road this morning were injured.
The accident took place, when the ill fated car bearing registration number JK08K-3501 was on its way to Billawer from Bani. Police said the driver lost control over the vehicle on a sharp curve and the car rolled down in deep gorge on at Sheetal Nagar on Basholi road. After getting information the locals rushed to the spot and evacuated the injured to PHC Jandrali. After first aid they were shifted to Sub District Hospital Basholi where doctors declared Sunil Singh, son of Basant Singh of Garh Malti Billawer as brought dead while the minor who was seriously injured in the accident also died later on.
The injured has been identified as Gopal Singh son of Basant Singh, Kamlesh Kumari Wife of Gopal Singh, Anuradhapura wife of Sunil Singh, Ashok Kumar, son of Omkar Singh residents of Garh Malti, Billawar. The seriously injured Gopal Singh was shifted to Pathsnkot in critical condition. A Police team reached on spot and started the investigation in the matter. Police also registered a case in this regard.
