JAMMU, May 7: Two persons were killed while five others seriously injured in a road accident at Batyara area of the city outskirts.
Police spokesman said that Ambulance van collided head on with a Tata mobile at Batyara area, in which seven persons were seriously injured.
He said all the injured persons were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where two of them namely Vinod Kumar and Sanjeev Khajuria, both resident of Tatta Pani, Sunderbani were declared as brought dead.
He added that the seriously injured namely Ankush Kumar, Ram Lal, Krishan, Kailash Devi and Gulshan, all resident of Tatta Pani, Sunderbani were undergoing treatment and there condition were stated to be stable when last reports came in.
A case in this regard has been registered at Kanachak Police Station.
