SRINAGAR, June 22: Two persons died while as five others were injured in different road accidents across the Kashmir valley.
Reports said that a bus bearing registration number JK01K/7360 hit and injured a girl Pathani aged 12 years daughter of Gangoo Ram resident of Dansar-Rajasthan at Sadrabal near Sir Syed Gate of University of Kashmir. The injured girl succumbed to her injuries while on way to hospital. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A Tipper bearing registration number JK01K/4413 hit and injured a pedestrian Fazi wife of Ghulam Ahmad Dandroo resident of Bemina, Srinagar at present Panzinara-Hajan near Sarai Dangerpora, Sumbal-Bandipora. The injured succumbed to her injuries at SKIMS Soura. Police has registered a case in this regard.
A State Road Transport Corporation bus hit and injured a pedestrian namely Taja aged 55 years wife of Ghulam Nabi Sheikh, resident of Kulan on National Highway near Kulan, Kangan. The injured was shifted to Primary Health Centre, Kulan where from he was referred to SKIMS Soura for further treatment.
A Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK09/8169 and a Maruti car bearing registration number DL-3C/423 collided near Hiri, Kupwara. The collision resulted in injuries to three persons including the driver of the Maruti car. The injured identified as Nazir Ahmad son of Ghulam Mohammad resident of Awoora-Manwan, Mohammad Afsar Khan son of Mohammad Abdullah and Habibullah Wani son of Samad residents of Zurhama were shifted to Sub District Hospital, Kupwara for treatment.
A motorcycle bearing registration number JK05/5145 and a Maruti car collided near Delina, Baramulla, resulting in injuries to the Motorcyclist Riyaz Ahmad Mir son of Wali Mohammad Mir resident of Daripora, Delina. The injured has been shifted to District Hospital, Baramulla where from he has been referred to SMHS Srinagar for further treatment. Police has registered a case in this regard.
