2 killed, 9 injured in mishaps

SRINAGAR, Dec 9: Two persons were killed and nine others injured in different road accidents across the Valley.
A police spokesman said seven persons were injured when a truck JK021/1877 skidded off the road at Nagabal in Budgam and fell in a nearby stream.
The injured were shifted to Charar-e-Sharief Hospital. Among them four were referred to SMHS, Hospital where Mohammad Kamal Teli son of Moma Teli resident of Pakherpora succumbed to his injuries.
Ghulam Mohammad Sheikh who was injured at Chinner Ganderbal on November 7 succumbed to his injuries in SKIMS.
A Sumo JK03/6167 hit a Motorcycle JK02Q/2023 at K.P Chowk in Anantnag, resulting in injuries to Motorcyclist Bopinder Singh aged 18 years, son of Surinder Singh of Punjab and at present residing in Nai Basti. Singh has been referred to SKIMS Soura.
The spokesman said a Cruser vehicle JK05B/0397 rammed into a wall at upper Bus stop Bandipora, resulting in injuries to its driver Bilal Ahmad Wani son of Gulzar Ahmad of Magnipora. The injured has been shifted to Bone and Joints Hospital, Srinagar.
A truck JK01K/7202 hit a Motorcycle at Braculu, Kulgam, resulting in injuries to motorcyclist Naseer Ahmad Shah son of Taibu Din of Matibugh. The injured has been shifted to SKIMS, Soura.
He said police has registered cases in these accidents.
