JAMMU, July 4: Two persons were killed while as many were injured when the car they were travelling in rolled down on Ring Road near Gharota here today.
As per police sources, a car bearing registration number JK02AT-1499 rolled down on Ring Road near Gharota, resulting into critical injuries to four persons today evening.
After getting information, police team led by SHO Gharota Inspector Khyati Maan Khajuria rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where doctors declared two of them as brought dead.
The deceased were identified as Nitin Kumar, son of Som Nath and Sonu, both residents of Reshamgarh District Jammu, while the injured were identified as Romy Sudan, son of Sushil Kumar of Bakshi Nagar District Jammu and Sunny, son of Hari Krishan, a resident of Reshamgarh District Jammu.
The bodies of the deceased have been shifted to mortuary of Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for post-mortem.
A case under relevant Sections has been registered at Police Station Gharota and investigation started.
