JAMMU : Two persons were today killed and several others injured when a truck hit them on Jammu-Pathankote highway in Kathua district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said.
The victims were returning home after a cremation when the truck, whose driver lost control over it, hit them on highway at Dayala Chak belt killing two persons and injuring several others, they said.
A police team has rushed to the spot and sending the injured to the nearby hospital.
“We are busy rushing the injured to a nearby hospital,” Station House Officer Dyala Chak Pardeep Sharma said. (AGENCIES)
