SAMBA, June 2: Two persons died while five others were injured after a matador turned turtle at Rakh Amb Tali today.
According to reports the Matador bearing registration number JK02P2395 was on its way from Samba to Sarthiya a border village in the area and after reaching village Rakh Amb Tali its tyre got burst and the vehicle turned turtle as the it was in fast speed with the result two persons died and five others were injured.
The deceased were identified as Shamsher Singh (40) S/o Bhagwan Singh R/o Palura and Seema Devi(24) D/o Punjab Singh R/o Raiyan. The injured were identified as Preto Devi W/o Madhu Ram R/o Maduan, Satya Devi W/o Jatt Ram R/o Kishanpur Jalian Channi, .Poli Devi W/o Vijay Kumar R/o Chalariya ,Radha Devi D/o Sanji Ram R/o Sarthian and Rani Devi W/o Raj Kumar R/o Sarthian Kalan.
The deceased were taken to DH Samba for postmortem and after that their bodies will be handed over to family for last rites. The injured are also under going treatment at DH Samba. The police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
