JAMMU, May 20: Two persons were killed while one another was injured in accidents, here today.
As per police sources, during the intervening night of May 19 and 20, two persons were injured when the motorcycle bearing registration number JK02CE-3240 they were riding on collided with a road side divider in the jurisdiction of Jhajjar Kotli Police Station.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and shifted the injured persons to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu, where doctors declared one of the injured person as brought dead, while other injured person was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
The deceased has been identified as Rajat Singh, son of Suram, a resident of Panjgrain Nagrota, while the injured has been identified as Bhim Singh, son of Jeet Singh of Chowki Choura.
Meanwhile, a pedestrian was killed when a car hit him near Super Speciality Hospital, here.
The deceased has been identified as Muzafar, son of Mohammad Yaseen, a resident of Mahore, District Reasi.
After completing medical and legal formalities, the bodies of the deceased were handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
Cases under relevant sections have been registered at Jhajjar Kotli and Bakshi Nagar Police Stations and investigation started.
