JAMMU, Oct 7: Two persons today made abortive bids on their lives by consuming some poisonous substance at their respective residences in different parts of Jammu Region.
According to police sources, a man identified as Gourav (32) son of Ashok Kumar and resident of Katra today consumed some poisonous substance at his home following which he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu
Similarly, a married woman identified as Shama (28) wife of Sonu and resident Dogra Hall (Jammu) also consumed some poisonous substance at her residence. She was immediately shifted to GMCH Jammu by the family members.
The condition of both the persons was stated to be stable when the last reports came in. In both cases, the concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter and started investigations.
