POONCH, May 30: A team comprising Assistant Controller Drug, Tehsildar Surankote and Drug Inspectors besides police personnel today inspected around 21 Medical shops located in and around SDH Surankote to ensure that various provisions of Drugs and Cosmetics Act 1940 are implemented in letter and spirit.
During the inspection, the team sealed two medical shops namely Sameer Medicate and Mushtaq Medical Hall for violation of the Act. The team also collected 15 drug samples for testing to ascertain quality of drugs.
