KISHTWAR, Dec 9: Six persons including two minors were injured in vehicles collision at Kuligarh area on Thathri-Kishtwar road.
As per police sources, a Maruti car bearing registration number JK06-8086 collided head on with a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK17-4570 at Kuligarh area, falling under the jurisdiction of Kishtwar Police Station.
After getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals started rescue operation. All the injured persons were shifted to Sub District Hospital (SDH) Thathri, from where they were later referred to District Hospital Doda for advanced treatment.
The injured have been identified as Permeena Begum (30), wife of Haleem Ahmed of Kahara Malanoo, Missra Begum (55), wife of Abdul Kareem of Bhatyas, Haleem Ahmed (35), son of Ghulam Haider of Kahara Malanoo, Tanu (12) and Taniya (8), daughters of Rajesh Kumar of Halaran and Rajinder (55), son of Sant Ram of Kishtwar.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Kishtwar Police Station and investigation started.
