JAMMU, Mar 29: Bus Stand Police arrested two mobile snatchers.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a person with Police Station Bus Stand stating that two unidentified persons snatched his mobile phone.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 09/2022 under Section 379 IPC was lodged at Police Station Bus Stand and investigation started.
To work out the case, a team from Police Station Bus Stand led by SHO Inspector Vishal Shoor was constituted under the supervision of SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa.
The team put in strenuous efforts and after analysing the CCTV cameras footages of the spot finally nabbed the mobile snatchers, who were identified as Mohammad Saleem, son of Abdul Rashid, a resident of District Reasi and Subhash Kumar, son of Beli Ram, a resident of District Udhampur. The snatched mobile phone was also recovered from the possession of these snatchers.
Further questioning of the arrested persons is going on to ascertain their involvement in other theft or snatching cases.
