BUDGAM, Nov 10: Taking serious note of the absence of doctors on duty District Hospital Pakherpora on November 8, the day when a passenger vehicle met with accident near Pakherpora, causing alleged delay in the emergency medical treatment of the injured passengers, the District Development Commissioner Budgam, Mir Altaf Ahmad today suspended two Medical Officers, Dr. Umer- bin-Hassan and Dr. Shabir Ahmad pending further inquiry.
The Sub Divisional Magistrate, Chadoora has been nominated as the inquiry officer, who will submit his report within fifteen days along with his recommendations.
Meanwhile, the District Development Commissioner Budgam has asked all the medical and para- medical staff to attend to their assigned duties at their respective health institutions.
