KATHUA, Mar 29: Two motorcyclists were killed in a road accident at Muthi Morh under the jurisdiction of Nagri Police Station (PS) near here after they were hit by a speedy tipper on Sunday morning.

As per reports, the speedy tipper bearing registration number JK06A7118 hit a motorcycle No PB06AY 9553 at Muthi Morh, Nagri road and both the youth riding on bike were crushed to death on spot.
A police team from Nagri PS rushed to the spot and shifted the bodies to local hospital where from they were shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital Kathua for postmortem this morning.
The police has seized the tipper. However, the driver fled after the accident. The police has launched a manhunt to arrest the driver who is still at large.
The deceased have been identified as Panchu Din, 23, son of Jamal Din of Mirpur Jaggo and Bachu Din, 18, son of Manji Din also of Mirpur Jaggo. The Nagri Police has registered a case under relevant sections of the law.
