RAJOURI, Feb 5: Two persons were murdered in district Rajouri in two separate incidents today while third was struggling for life in hospital.
Official sources said that Mohd Hafiz (46) and his son- Mohd Gafoor, were attacked by his brother Mohd Sharief and his family members at Fatehpur village over a land dispute this evening. During clash, both sides exchanged lathis, stones and sharp edged weapons.
While Mohd Hafiz, son of Hakam Din was killed on the spot, his teen-aged son, Gafoor sustained serious wounds in stomach and was struggling for life in GMC Hospital, Rajouri.
SHO Rajouri Farid Kohli claimed that one of the accused namely, Mohd Anees has been arrested while, two others- Mohd Sharief (brother) and Syed Ahmed were undergoing treatment in hospital. A case has been registered in this connection. Seriously injured Mohd Gafoor, son of deceased Mohd Hafiz was being operated upon by doctors at GMC Hospital, Rajouri.

Meanwhile, a youth was shot dead by some unidentified person/persons inside his house in Budhal area of district Rajouri during early hour today.
A police official said that Akram Shah (27), son of Ali Akbar, resident of Targain village in Budhal was sleeping in his room. At around 4 am, somebody fired on his head from a window killing him on the spot. The police party from Budhal reached the spot and after examining site of incident, sent the body for postmortem. It was learnt that accused had used pistol for killing his target. The police was investigating into the matter.
Meanwhile, police claimed that two suspects have been picked up and placed under sustained interrogation in this connection.
