JAMMU, Oct 14: Talab Tillo police today arrested two narcotic smugglers and recovered 400 grams of charas from their possession.
A police spokesman said that, on specific inputs, police party from Talab Tillo Police Post laid a naka main bazaar Talab Tillo and intercepted one Indica car bearing registration number JK02AB-0016.
During search, police recovered 400 grams of charas and arrested two narco smugglers, who have been identified as Vikram Singh, son of Uttam Singh of Talab Tillo and Sunny Kumar, son of Kamal Krishan of Lower Gadigarh.
A case under FIR number 163/13 and under Section 8/20 Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances (NDPS) Act has been registered at Talab Tillo Police Post and investigation started.
Police party led by SI Vikrant Singh made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Jai Pal Sharma.
