REASI, Oct 17: Mahore police today arrested two narcotic smugglers from Sarh Bagga area of Tehsil Mahore in Reasi district.
Official sources said that during joint naka checking at Sarh Bagga in Mahore at around 4 pm today, one vehicle bearing Registration No. JK14B/9311 coming from Bagga towards Mahore driven by Shah Sajad , son of Mohd Sadiq, of Sou Bathoie village in Tehsil Mahore and an associate namely Talib Hussain, son of Abdul Karim from same village, was stopped. During checking of the vehicle 07 grams of narcotic drugs suspected to be brown sugar and cannabis (Charas in common parlance) 03 challian weighing 110 grams was recovered from possession of driver.
On this case FIR NO. 84/2020 U/S 8/20/21/29 NDPS Act stands registered in Police Station Mahore and investigation is going on.
Recovery was made by SHO Mahore Insp Rattan Singh Rana assisted by Police party from Ops camp Sarh, under the supervision of SDPO Mahore Dr Khalid Ashraf.
