Jammu, May 8: Natrang Jammu has created a history as two of its young artists Vrinda Gujral and Satyam Mehra have reached to the top ten of the country in the reality show ‘Sabse Bada Kalakaar’ on Sony TV.
Terming this as historic, the Director of Natrang Padamshree Balwant Thakur informed here today that it’s a pride moment for Jammu as best two amongst top ten are the brilliant talents of Jammu.
“Look at the volume of the country, it’s population, the growing competition and in such a huge country, two artists creditably made it to the list of top ten speaks volumes of the kind of training opportunity Natrang offers to Children” Balwant Thakur added.
Complimenting the entire team of Natrang trainers which include Neeraj Kant, Sumeet Sharma and Aarushi Thakur, he also appreciated the parents for encouraging and supporting their young children.
For Natrang it’s not something small but a huge success for grabbing two out of ten in a competition where over 50,000 talented children competed for these top positions, he added.
Vrinda Gujral of Natrang born to Ashu and Manish Gujral Vrinda started their acting career from Natrang’s children theatre workshops about four years and later got selected for Natrang’s blockbusters like ‘Mere Hisse Ki Dhoop Kahan Hai’ and ‘Aap Hamare Hain Kaun’ both written and directed by Balwant Thakur. In Natrang, Vrinda has already won accolades for her outstanding performances in various National Theatre Festivals held in Chandigarh, Delhi and Bhopal.
Satyam Mehra born to Anju Bala and Jatinder Mehra is also a product of Natrang workshops and later promoted to play one of the lead role in the play ‘School Days’ under the direction of Sumeet Sharma.
