POONCH, Mar 18: Two notorious criminals have been detained under Public Safety Act (PSA).
The accused, namely Talib Hussain alias Javid Choudhary, son of Nazir Hussain, resident of Naka Manjhiari, Tehsil Mendhar, and Sharaz Ahmed Mir alias Bedi, son of Mohd Arshad Mir, resident of Sandote, Tehsil Balakote, District Poonch, were involved in theft, snatching, smuggling of illicit liquor, and influencing youth negatively, posing a significant threat to public safety.
The District Police Poonch, with orders from the District Magistrate, has taken this preventive measure to prevent further criminal activities.
Talib Hussain is implicated in seven criminal cases in the district, while Sharaz Ahmed is linked to seven separate criminal cases in Poonch and Rajouri Districts.
