JAMMU, Apr 9: Two members of Pollution Control Board Jammu got injured when they were allegedly attacked by group of persons at New Mahavir Brick Kiln, Khanpur , of Tehsil Hiranagar today.
Two injured guards of PCB Jammu are identified as Subash Chander and Ranjit Singh. As per reports a team of Pollution Control Board Jammu led by Member Secretary, Samir Bharti visited various Brick Kilns for routine check. When they reached at New Mahavir Brick Kiln Khanpur, a group of persons led by Sanjeev Gupta attacked them. Two persons were injured in scuffle and other got minor injuries.
The miscreants ranaway from the scene after committing the crime. The PCB officials approached to Police Station Rajbagh and complained about the incident. A report was lodged against Sanjeev Gupta and others at Police Station Rajbagh under FIR No 90/ 2018 under Section 353, 332, 147, 336 RPC. The police started manhunt to nab the accused involved in the attack.
