SRINAGAR, Feb 25: Security forces today arrested two Over Ground Workers of militants in South Kashmir district of Pulwama.
Police and Army’s 50 RR on specific information arrested two OGWs of militants.
They have been identified as Aquib Maqbool Lone, resident of Ratnipora, Pulwama and Naseer Ahmad Hurra resident of Gulbugh, Pulwama.
As per police records, they were involved in assisting the militants operating in the areas of Pulwama.
Police said incriminating materials including explosive substance and ammunition were recovered from their possession.
Accordingly to the investigation, they were conspiring to facilitate the carrying out of attacks in the areas of Pulwama thereby disrupting peace and normal activities.
Police have registered a case (FIR No. 11/2020) under relevant Sections of law and further investigation is in progress.
