2 pilgrims among 3 injured in road mishap

KATRA, July 11: Two Mata Vaishno Devi pilgrims among three persons were injured when their taxi collided with a passenger bus on Katra-Jammu Road, near Maghal, here today.
The collision took place between Haryana Roadways Bus with registration number HR55 GV- 5280 and Taxi Car with registration number PB01D- 9002, resulting into injuries to the Taxi driver and two pilgrims traveling in the vehicle.
The injured were shifted to CHC Katra and they were identified as Seema Gupta, 42 years old, wife of Sudhir Kumar, resident of Bihar; Avinash Kumar, 44 years old, son of Rajinder Prashad, resident of Gaya, Bihar and driver Gain Chand, 25 years old, son of Om Parkash, resident of Chandigarh.
After providing first aid at CHC Katra, doctors referred Seema Gupta to GMC Hospital Jammu for further treatment.
