KATRA, Apr 29: Two male pilgrims of Mata Vaishno Devi, died here today because of sudden cardiac arrest.
Reports said that Anil Kumar Gupta (56), son of Shiv Charandas Gupta, resident of 77- Rose Avenue, Maler Kotla, Punjab fell unconscious near Alok View Point while on way to the Bhawan along with his family members. He was immediately shifted to Pushpanjali Dispensary where doctor declared him as brought dead. Later, the body was shifted to CHC, Katra, through Shrine Board ambulance for further proceedings.
Another male pilgrim, identified as Narsingh (60), son of Gulab Singh Thakur of Sawar Khed, Distt. Ameravati, Maharashtra, suddenly fell unconscious near Bhairo temple while on way to the temple along with his relatives. He was immediately shifted to dispensary Bhairo where doctors, after medical examination, declared him as brought dead.
