JAMMU, Oct 26: On stop gap arrangement, the Higher Education Department today ordered transfer and postings of 2 Principals, 20 Incharge Principals and 11 Associate Professors with immediate effect.
According to the order, Mudasir Afshan, under order of transfer to Incharge Principal DGC Larnoo has been posted as Incharge Principal GDC Kangan, Nazir Ahmad Tantray, Associate Professor Physics JKIMS Srinagar will look after the post of Principal GDC Larnoo, Abdul Wahid Makdoomi, under order of adjustment as Incharge Principal GDC Gool has been posted as Incharge Principal GDC Hadipora, Abdul Rehman Najar, under order of transfer as Incharge Principal GDC Leh has been posted as Incharge Principal GDC Banihal and Diskit Angmoo, Associate Professor English GCW Gandhi Nagar has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Leh.
Fazal Rehman Beigh, Incharge Principal GDC Kilam has been transferred and posted Incharge Principal GDC Boys Baramulla, Farooq Ahmad Malik, Principal GDC Boys Kupwara has been transferred and posted Principal GDC Kilam, Fayaz Ahmad Lone, Associate Professor Botany GDC Boys Kupwara will look after the routine affairs of GDC Boys Kupwara, Khurshid Ahmad Khan, Incharge Principal GDC Tral has been transferred and posted Incharge Principal GDC Beerwah and Bushra Shamom, Incharge Principal GDC Beerwah has been transferred and posted Incharge Principal Bagi-Dilawar Khan.
Abdul Majeed Sofi, Incharge Principal GDC Women’s Kupwara has been transferred and posted Incharge Principal GDC Tral, Munawara Sayeed, Associate Professor Education IASE will look after the routine affairs of IASE Srinagar till regular arrangement is made, Abdul Majid Dar, Incharge Principal GDC Handwara has been transferred and posted Incharge Principal GWC Sopore, Ghulam Jeelani Qureshi, Incharge Principal GDC Utersoo has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Handwara and Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Incharge Principal GDC Sopore has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Bemina.
Mushtaq Ahmad Dar, Incharge Principal GDC Bhaderwah has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Sopore, Ali Mohammad Dar, Associate Professor History GDC Boys Anantnag has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Boys, Mohammad Shafi Khan, Associate Professor Physics GDC Bemina has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Kargil, Imtiyaz Ahmad Khan, Associate Professor Botany, SP College Srinagar will look after the post of Principal GDC Tangdhar and RS Jamwal, Associate Professor Chemistry, GGM Science College Jammu will look after the post of Principal GDC Basohli.
Sunita Sudan, Associate Professor, Sanskrit GWC Parade will look after the post of Principal GDC Budhal, Kuldeep Raj Gupta, Incharge Principal GDC Kalakote has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Akhnoor, Dr Anil Gupta, Incharge Principal GDC Akhnoor has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Kalakote, Subash Chander, Incharge Principal under order of transfer to GDC Budhal has been posted as Incharge Principal GDC Hiranagar and SK Magotra, presently attached in RUSA has been posted as Incharge Principal GDC Udhampur.
SS Bhalwal, Incharge Principal GDC Udhampur has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Bhaderwah, Hemla Aggarwal, Principal GDC Reasi has been transferred and posted as Principal WC Parade, SP Saraswat, Incharge Principal GDC Kilothran Doda has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Reasi, Basharat Iqbal, Associate Professor, English, GDC Bhaderwah will look after the routine affair of GDC Kilothran and Musharaf Hussain, Associate Professor, Chemistry GDC Poonch will look after the routine affairs of GDC Poonch.
Ghulam Nabi Palla, Incharge Principal GDC Tangdhar has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GDC Tangmarg, Mushtaq Ahmad Lone, Associate Professor, Chemistry, GDC Pulwama will look after the routine affairs of GDC Utersoo and Riyaz Ahmad Qureshi, Incharge Principal GDC Tangmarg has been transferred and posted as Incharge Principal GCW Kupwara.
When contacted, Minister for Education, Altaf Bukhari told the Excelsior that these adjustments were purely stop gap arrangement for a few days to ensure that none of the college remains headless and hence seniority was not considered. “The final list of the college Principals, strictly as per the seniority, will be released soon after re-opening of Darbar at Jammu,” he added.
