UDHAMPUR, Sept 29: Two soldiers were killed when the Army vehicle they were traveling in skidded off the road and fell into gorge near Narsoo area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway.

As per reports, an Army truck rolled down into gorge near Narsoo on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway at around 7.30 am, resulting into serious injuries to two soldiers.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and with the help of locals started rescue operation.
Both the soldiers were brought from gorge and shifted to Military Hospital Udhampur, where they breathed their last during treatment.
The deceased were identified as Head Constables Nayak Panwar and Suresh Sabre.
After completion of medical and legal formalities, the bodies of the deceased soldiers were handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Chenani Police Station and investigation started.
