2 teachers suspended for misconduct

Srinagar, June 20: In response to misconduct allegations, the Directorate of School Education, Kashmir (DSEK) today suspended two teachers following a complaint against them.
In this regard, the DSEK, through an order issued here, placed both the teachers-Jaffer Mushtaq and Nisar Ahmed Wagay-currently working at High School, Brah District Anantnag, under suspension and attached them to the Principal of HSS, Mattan with immediate effect.
To ensure a thorough investigation into the complaints lodged against these teachers, DSEK has also ordered the formation of a committee of officers which will conduct an in-depth inquiry and submit its findings along with recommendations within 10 days.
The committee consists of Principal HSS, Mattan, Anantnag, Principal HSS, Vessu, Anantnag and the Zonal Education Officer Srigufwara, Anantnag
The order stated that the suspension of both the teachers will remain in effect until the inquiry is concluded, however, the allegations against the teachers have not been specified in the order.
