RAMBAN, Sept 6: Two cops of Traffic Police Department were injured when the motorcycle they were riding on was hit by an army vehicle near Battery Chasma area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, here today.
As per police sources, Army gypsy driven by Sepoy Sanjay Bhai of 12 RR Banihal hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK20-2242 near Battery Chasma area on Jammu-Srinagar National Highway, resulting into injuries to two cops of Traffic Police Department riding on the motorcycle.
The injured cops identified as HC Mushtaq Ahmed, son of Niaz Ali of Kot Bhalwal District Jammu and SgCt Baljeet Singh, son of Kartar Singh of Salal District Reasi were shifted to DH Ramban for treatment.
A case under FIR Number 147/2020 under section 279 and 337 IPC has been registered on the complaint of concerned Traffic SO at Police Station Ramban and investigation started.
