SRINAGAR, Jan 6: Police today said it have recovered two bodies of unidentified men at twin places in Valley.
A police spokesman said they recovered a body along National Highway Bypass in Nowgam here near British School. “The body of the deceased is lying in mortuary at Pantha Chowk. Police have initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC to ascertain identity and cause of his death,” he said.
The spokesman said another unidentified body has been recovered at Upper Bazar from irrigation Cannel in Qazigund area of Kulgam district. “The body of the deceased is lying in the mortuary room of Qazigund Hospital. Police have initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC to ascertain identity and cause of his death,” he added.
