RAJOURI, Apr 26: The police seized two vehicles loaded with 10 bovine animals and arrested three smugglers in this connection last night.
Official sources said that a police party from Nowshera led by SHO, Insp Karan Chalotra intercepted two vehicles loaded with bovine animals last night near Lam-Nowshera road and found ten cattle loaded in them. The police seized both the Tata Mobile vehicles and rescued cattle. They were smuggling these cattle to Kashmir via Mughal Road.
Three smugglers arrested by police in this connection are identified as – Showkat Hussain, son of Mohd Iqbal from Rani Badater; Mohd Taj, son of Mohd Shafi, resident Chhanni Prat and Zameel Ahmed, son of Mohd Ashraf, resident of Mendhar.
