RAJOURI, July 6: The police today seized four bovine animals being smuggled to Valley in two Tata Mobile vehicles and arrested four persons in this connection last night.
Reports said Dharamsal police led by SHO, Mohd Bashir intercepted two Tata Mobile vehicles JK-13/6029 and JK-12/4409 during naka at Siot Morh last night and found four bovine animals loaded in them. The occupants failed to produce valid documents to police party.
The police then seized vehicles along with animals and arrested all the four accused persons. A case was also registered against them. Those arrested were identified as Mohd Tariq, son of Mohd Sadiq, Wazarat Hussain, son of Mohd Sharief, residents Khanetar in Poonch, Mohd Farooq, son of Mohd Bashir, resident of Dhalyote in Kalakote and Masood Hussain, son of Mir Hussain, resident of Chad, Kalakote.
