POONCH, Mar 1: The police arrested two burglars wanted in several theft cases in Poonch and several other places in the district.
A police spokesman said that these two notorious burglars were wanted in several theft cases. A special police party conducted raids at several places and nabbed them from a hide-out last night. They have been identified as Irshad Ahmed, son of Mohd Abdullah Lone, resident of Sawjian and Mohd Azam, son of Hassan Din, resident of Atoli in Mandi.
The police said that some more arrests are likely in this connection and recovery will be made shortly at their instance. They have been placed under sustained interrogation. Several cases stand registered against them.
