UDHAMPUR, July 1: Due to a cloud burst and consequent flash floods in Chenani, a young woman and a middle aged man were washed away in village Cihaldi, last evening.
Reports said that Roma Devi (36) wife of Krishnu and Sagga Singh (52) son of Chatru of Cihaldi were grazing their cattle in a field when flash floods washed them away. Three animals were also washed away in the flash flood.
Later, bodies of the deceased were recovered from a distance and shifted to hospital for postmortem and other legal formalities.
Meanwhile, a boy died while taking bath in Chak Brayalta nallah at Ramnagar. The deceased has been identified as Jeet Kumar, son of Premu of Kasuri Sunetar.
