JAMMU, Jan 12: Arnia police arrested two women and recovered illicit liquor from their possession.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Arnia Police Station led by SI Sadiq Khan apprehended two women along with 25 litres of illicit liquor.
The arrested women were identified as Shakuntla Devi, wife of Raj Kumar and Misha Rani, wife of Ashwani Kumar, both residents of Kothey Salehar.
A case under FIR Number 2/2020 under section 48-A Excise Act has been registered at police station and investigation started.
