UDHAMPUR, Mar 26: Two women made suicide attempts at their respective places in district Udhampur today.
A police spokesman said that 22-year-old Pinky, wife of Pawan Kumar of Salmeri and at present Jaganoo consumed some poisonous substance at home. She was rushed to hospital where doctors provided her treatment. Her condition was stable now.
In yet another similar incident 27-year-old Usha Devi, wife of Kaka Ram of Billian Bowli in Udhampur also consumed some poison and turned serious. She was responding to the treatment in district hospital. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
