UDHAMPUR, Nov 6: In separate incidents, a youth committed suicide by hanging himself at his house in Latti while another youth was found dead under mysterious circumstances at Udhampur.
According to the police report, Suresh Kumar (23), son of Krishan Lal, resident of Sira B in Latti Tehsil, was found hanging in his house. Family member called the Police, which rushed to the spot and shifted the dead body to Sub District Hospital Chenani for the postmortem.
The police after completion of all the formalities and postmortem, handed over the body to family members for last rites and registered a case for further investigation. Cause of provocation behind the extreme step could not be ascertained.
In separate incident, Akhil (26), son of Mohan Lal of Latti, was found dead under mysterious circumstances on the roadside near DN Palace, Udhampur. Some locals spotted the body and immediately called the Police, which shifted the dead to District Hospital Udhampur for post martem.
Cause of death could not be ascertained immediately while Police has registered the case for further investigation.
