RAJOURI, Feb 1: The police arrested two persons and recovered some quantity of heroin from their possession in Nowshera area today.
Official sources said that police team from PS Nowshera, led by SHO Arjun Mangota during routine checking intercepted a Scooty, bearing registration number JK11H- 4395, traveling from Bareri towards Nowshera. Two persons were riding on it.
During frisking of both, the police recovered six grams of heroin. Both were
identified as Ashu Bali, son of Rakesh Kumar from Rajal and Pankaj Kumar, son of Shiv Ratan from Bareri in Tehsil Nowshera. The police arrested them and registered a case FIR No. 14/2025 against them.
