JAMMU, Aug 19: Two youth, who got trapped in the flash flood in river Tawi near Har-ki-Paudi have been rescued.
As per police sources, two youth namely Varun, son of Sham Lal and Shubam, son of Karnail, both residents of Reshamgarh Colony got trapped in the flash flood in river Tawi near Har-ki-Paudi due to sudden rise in the water level.
After getting information, a team from Bagh-e-Bahu police station led by SHO SI Bimal Indu along with ITBP officials reached the spot and started rescue operation.
With the strenuous efforts, both the youth were rescued and precious human lives have been saved.
