JAMMU, Sept 26: Railway Magistrate Jammu, Sandeep Gandotra today awarded two years imprisonment and fine of Rs 2000 to car driver Vinod Bali, whose rash and negligent driving had snatched life of a scooterist Pritam Kour on July 19, 2009.
After hearing Prosecuting Officer Yogesh Nagpal appearing for the State, Railway Magistrate Jammu, Sandeep Gandotra observed that the prosecution has proved its case beyond shadow of doubt. Accordingly, two years imprisonment and fine Rs 2000 under Section 304-A RPC was awarded to car driver.
