JAMMU, Dec 13: Sub-Judge Batote Naushad A Khan awarded two years rigorous imprisonment and fine of Rs 5000 to Kaka Ram, son of Kisho Ram, who was accused of sodomy.
After hearing Senior PO Raj Kumar Bhagat for the State whereas Advocate PB Katoch for the accused person, Sub-Judge observed, “prosecution has been able to establish the offence under Section 377 RPC against the accused”.
“Accordingly, the accused is held guilty for the commission of offence under Section 377 RPC and convicted and sentenced to undergo rigorous imprisonment for a period of two years”, the court said.
