SRINAGAR, Mar 27: At least 20 cattle were charred to death in a massive fire incident that ripped through four residential houses and three cowsheds at Lachipura village of Uri area of North Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
Four residential houses and three cowsheds were completely destroyed in a devastating fire incident in which 20 cattle including goats and sheep were also charred to death.
Local said that the fire broke out after a man carrying flambeau went to feed cattle. The hay present in the cowshed caught fire, which led to the damage to four houses
The residential house belonged to Haji Abdullah Mughal, son of Dost Mohammad Mughal, Mohammad din Mughal, son of Abdullah Mughal, Ghulam Mohammad Mughal, son of Manah Mughal, Dost Mohammad Mughal, son of Yaar Mohammad Mughal, Jabbar Mughal, son of Yaar Mohammad Mughal, Fateh Mohammad Mughal, son of Yaar Mohammad Mughal and Shah Begum, wife of Amdani Mughal, all residents of Gawas Pati Lachipur in Uri.
Police and locals started firefighting operation together.
