20 injured in road accidents

RAJOURI, May 5: At least 20 persons were injured in two separate roads accidents in district Rajouri today.
Official sources said that a video coach, bearing registration No. JK02AL- 0297 which was on way to Jammu from Poonch met with an accident at around 1530 hrs at Chatyari, in Sector Chingus in which driver of the vehicle and 15 passengers were injured. The injured were immediately shifted to GMC Rajouri for treatment.
They were identified as Abdul Hamid, son of Atta Mohd from Jarran Wali Gali Mendhar (Driver), Mashrat Bi, wife of Mohd Junaid from Chingus; Mohd Juned from Sangpur; Aleena (4) daughter of Mohd Juned from Sangpur, Manir Hussain from Surankote, Asha Kousar from Dandasar, Mohd Azeem , Mohd Azal, Abdul Qayoom and Mod Jameel from Surankote, Hassan Mohammad from Surankote, Mathai Lal and his wife Neetu from Thandi Kassi, Mohd Rubani and Khadiya Begum from Channi Parat, Raj Kumar from MP and Mohd Ismail from Loran.
Meanwhile, four persons were injured when a car ( JK11F/0341) and truck (JK02BF/5611) collided at Dehri Ralyote in Manjakote sector this evening. The injured were shifted to GMC Hospital, Rajouri. They were identified as Sehrish Akhtar (11), daughter of Ghulam Ahmed; Parveen Akhtar (40), wife of Ghulam Ahmed; Danish Ahmed (19) son of Maqbool Ahmed and Zalakha Akhtar, daughter of Ghulam Ahmed, all residents of Thanamandi. The police has taken cognizance.
