POONCH, Nov 13: Chief Education Officer Poonch today ordered suspension of 20 teachers and a Class-IV employee, who were found absent from duty during surprise visit of schools in the district.
Besides, 22 others, including teachers and Headmasters, were charge sheeted for dereliction of duty while some schools were found closed during the visit.
The suspended teachers included Famida Kouser (GPS Chandimar), Naseem and Shaida (MS Lower Kala), Zakir Hussain (MS Kala Hari), Nazakit Hussain, Naseem Akhter, Fozia Bhatti (GMS Lathoon), Abdul Hamid (PS Lower Kalala Zone Surankote), Mohd Aslam (MS Lower Bachhai Surankote), Malika Khatoon (PS Moh Ferozalian), Mohd Asif Khan, Nishat Akhter, Niaz Ahmed, Mahroof Ahmed (HSS Gunthal), Mohd Hanief (PS Moh Kumaran), Azmat Hussain Shah, Kalsoom Fatima (MS Ratta Jabbar), Kaneez Fatima and Mohd Bashir (MS Lower Sangla), Class-IV employee Mohd Akram, Shakoor Ahmed (PEM) and Maqsood Ajaz (PET) in HS Mahra.
The school, which were found closed during the inspection, included, PS Pateen, PS Panar, PS Moh Namberdara Dogrian, MS Upper Dogrian, PS Naka Dogrian and GPS Pringle,
The surprise inspection was conducted by four teams, constituted by CEO Poonch Abdul Hamid Fani.
