JAMMU : A 20-year-old boy was crushed to death when his scooty was hit by a car in Rajouri district.
“A boy, identified as Danish Malik (20), resident of village Kheora, was crushed to death after he was hit by a speedily-driven car late last night,” police here today said.
The boy was dragged along the road by the car resulting in his on the spot death. The car driver tried to fled the scene after the incident.
“Protestors thrashed the driver and put the vehicle on fire,” the police said, adding that police team rushed to the spot but mob pelted stones and also set ablaze two police vehicles.
Meanwhile, a case has been registered and investigation started. (AGENCIES)
