21 days Tiranga Rally by “Muslim Rashtriya Manch” concludes

SRINAGAR, Aug 30: The 21 day series of Tiranga rallies that started on 9th of August organised by Jammu and Kashmir “Muslim Rashtriya Manch”(MRM) from district Badgam concluded here today in which several people from different walks of life participated.
The programme was led by All India convenor “Muslim Rashtriya Manch”(MRM) Haji Mohammad Afzaal along with workers of Manch and office bearers including various PRIs.
The rally was organised in connection with ‘Meri Mati Mera Desh’ campaign.
The rally was flagged off by Haji Mohammad Afzaal All India convenor MRM. Besides, other participants, the rally was attended by Gulshan Kumar (organiser J&K, Ladakh, Punjab, Himachal Pardesh), Mir Nazir Ahmed (convenor J&K, Ladakh UT’s), Dr Shamsh -ul- Haq (co-convenor J&K , Ladakh UT’s) , G N Shah (co-convener), Dr Mohd Ashraf (secretary J&K), M.S Magray (senior leader MRM), Shakeel Dutta (Kashmir secretary), Nazir Khan (convenor district Kupwara), Ravinder Singh (convenor district Baramulla), Parvaiz Ahmad (vice convenor district Ganderbal)
M.Maqbool Mir (district convenor Budgam), Mir Nazir Dar (convenor district Pulwama), Tariq Ahmad Lawa (convenor district Anantnag), Abdul Gani (convenor district Shopian) and others.
Slogans like Meri Mati Mera Desh, Madray Watan Hindustan Zindabad, Aek Hind Jai Hind, etc were raised on the occasion.
The rally started from Lal Chowk which after passing through different markets and streets reached Press Enclave where dignitaries stressed on the need of unity amongst the people irrespective of caste, creed, colour, region and religion.
Haji Mohammad Afzaal, national convener, MRM on the occasion said the objective of “Tiranga rally” is to integrate people together by religion and nation. ” The programme was to inculcate a sense of patriotism in the citizens to join hands for peace and prosperity of the nation” Afzaal added.
The ‘Har Ghar Tiranga’ is a campaign under the aegis of ‘Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav’ to encourage people to respect the Tiranga.
Greeting people on the occasion of Raksha Bandhan convenor MRM J&K and Ladakh, Mir Nazir said “respecting the Tricolor collectively as a nation is duty of every Indian”.
As per the directions of Dr Indresh Kumar chief patron of MRM, the Manch is relentlessly organising programmes on brotherhood and historical campaign in the form of “Meri Mati Mera Desh Rallies” in every district of Jammu and Kashmir.
