JAMMU, Jan 31: Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF J&K today promoted 21 Head Constables (HCs) and 40 Selection Grade Constables (SgCts).
As per official spokesman, on the orders issued by VK Singh, Commandant General Home Guards/CD/SDRF J&K, a Departmental Promotion Committee (DPC) was constituted.
Munir Ahmad Khan ADGP HG/CD/SDRF was the Chairperson of the Committee, while Ranjit Kanwar, Staff Officer (Trainings), Mohammad Shabir, Staff Officer (Admn) and Rashmi Wazir, Commandant SDRF 2nd Battalion Jammu were members.
The Committee cleared long pending promotion of HCs and SGCts. Based on their recommendations, the Commandant General HG/CD & SDRF J&K issued promotion orders of 21 HCs to the rank of ASIs and 40 SGCts to the rank of Head Constables.
